For an idea of how phoenomenally huge our universe it never ceases to amaze me with this useful analogy which i read in, “A short history of nearly everything” by Bill Bryson:
If you filled the Royal Albert Hall to the brim with frozen peas, and imagined that each one of those tiny peas represented a galaxy in the universe, that would be how big it is.
